Research review of methodology of sheikh Zakaria Kandahlawi in “khasayil Nabawi”

Abstract

Shaikh Zakaria Kandahlavi was a renowned scholar, muhadiths and sufi of sub-continent.  His written work in Hadith have earned the authenticity even amongst the scholars of the Arab world.  Muslims   around the world benefited from his writing and works on preaching Islamic thoughts and Hadith studies. He has contributed to the science of the prophet’s Hadith through teaching and scientific writing of books on Hadith, its science and narrators. His work “Khasail-e-Nabawi is an Urdu translation and short Urdu commentary of sham ail – e- Tirmizi and Arabic footnotes along with the Urdu translation. This book covers all aspects of various topics related to seerat . It is a summary of almost all the previous commentaries edited by renowned scholars of Hadith. This article aims at introducing the contents and evaluation of work presented in this book.
