A brief introduction to Pashtun folklore and their Kinds

Abstract

Folk lore is a genric term. It has multidimential aspects . Every nations of the world has its own Folkloric colors and shads. Actually Folkloric characteristics of a nations reflects feelings and emotions of the masses. Similarly Pashto Folklore has its own charms and very  rich history. Whenever literature is evolved, it encircles history, culture, religion and related activities prevailed in a society. Pashto Folklore  is rich in presenting all aspects of life and particularly religion, Pakhtun wali, customs and traditions which is discussed widely in it.

In this paper some of the important Folkloric features will be analyzed and discusses in depth.
