The concept of Medical Responsibility through History and Medieval Islamic World

Abstract

Medicine is one of the greatest sciences, and it has existed since man was found on this earth. Hardly a period of time is free of humans suffering from disease, so man has been guided by the inspiration of Almighty to know things that can be considered medicine. There are so many opinions to which the foundations of medical sciences are determined. There are those who believe it belongs to magicians of Yemen or Persia, Egyptians, Indians and ancient Greeks. This article will analyze all these periods from Babylonians to the modern world. The aim of this study is to highlight the Islamic period and its contribution in this regard. The method used for this research was deductive, analytical and applied.
