Abstract

     There is no doubt that the religion which pleases God Almighty is Islam, and what distinguish Islam from other intellectual systems is the values. The study of Islamic values ​​and the values ​​of the Jahiliyyah (the days of ignorance) is of great importance in this era. Westerners are promoting their values ​​in Islamic countries, and they claim the superiority of their values to Islamic values, but it will be clear from my study that Islamic values ​​are superior, stable and flexible, and that they can bring happiness to human, and guarantee a good life. This comprehension will be only possible after knowing the concept of values, the characteristics of Islamic values ​​and Western values, and what follow them from practical results in human life. After we understand well the superiority of our values, we can leave the defensive situation that the West often puts us in, and be assured of what God has given us from religion and wisdom.
