Abstract

Allah Subḥānhū wa Ta’āla has showered special blessings on Muḥmmad Ṣallallāhu ’Alayhi Wa Sallam and his followers (ummah). In this are the characteristics of the perfection and completion of Dīn. Islām is such a perfect and making perfect (Dīn) from every perspective that it provides perpetual guidance and in the presence of such Dīn no other Dīn is required. It guides believers in every walk of life till doomsday. Dīn Islām has provided such principles in the Qurān and Sunnah that in their light Scholars and Jurists deduce solutions problems appearing in future. With the passage of time as science and technology is advancing humans’ economic and cultural life also changes. New methods of selling and buying and other affairs are emerging. One type is contract maintenance in economic affairs. In it, the parties agree on the security or maintenance of machines or other things individually or collectively. “In this article, the nature and types of Sharī’ah commands in the contemporary maintenance contract will be discussed and elaborated.
