Abstract

Secularism is commonly defined as the separation of religion from the state. But it can be defined properly as a belief that religion should not be involved in any social activities. It is a movement in society directed away from otherworldliness to life on earth. Secularism has various impacts on Islamic social activities. This research explains the definition of secularism and its crucial impact on the Arabic language that is to eliminate Arabic language from Muslim’s life. The research also deals with the three different ways of eliminating Arabic language. These facts are elucidated in the research with relevant references and arguments.
