Abstract

Hadiths are the second basic source of Islamic law and a commentary for the Holy Quran. From the Prophet's time until today, the interpretation of the Holy Quran is done through hadiths. Qur'an and Hadith are inseparable from each other. It is not possible to follow the Quran without Hadith. Ghulam Ahmed Parvez and his followers have targeted hadiths. They has denied the authority of the hadith and expressed many doubts about hadith. Many scholars have written about this view of Parvez and his followers. Sheikh Abdul Salam Rostami has also contributed in this academic and research work.

Sheikh Abdul Salam Rustami was a famous religious scholar of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He has written a permanent book on Pervez's thoughts. He has criticized Parvaiz's thought about hadith and have answered their objections in a best way in this book.

In this research paper, a critical review of Pervaiz's and his followers' Thoughts regarding the authenticity of hadith is presented in the context of Sheikh Abdul Salam's thoughts.
