Abstract

Social media is a new media platform that is used by the whole world with different beliefs, ideas and cultures. It has a strong impact on people’s ideas and beliefs, both positively and negatively. There is no harm to use it in what is beneficial to the Muslim community, and It is forbidden to use it in what brings harm, corruption to the Muslim community. Therefore, it’s necessary to monitor its users among the family members, especially adolescents, men and women, and make them aware of the optimal use of these devices, and the need for parents to be with their children to guide them and make them aware of the correct use of this social media. Since social media has multiple and varied damages to the Islamic community, the correct use is to abide by the Islamic regulations when using it; To achieve benefit and salvation in this world and the hereafter. Finally, I mentioned some solutions and recommendations for social media users to ward off their evils and bring about their benefits. May the Almighty Allah preserve and protect the Muslim men and women from all misfortunes of temptation.
